Laurie Anderson - O Superman (1982)

I remember seeing the video for this tune when I was around 11 or so. It was quite disturbing, so was her video for the awesome tune 'Sharkey's Day'. It seems it's one of those tunes that has always been there, a beacon for electronic music of sorts. I've heard a number of remixes, in various styles but nothing comes close to the original in my opinion. I've got a ton of Laurie Anderson records here, so if there's an appetitie for the avant-garde just raise your hands and I'll put more up.

    Love the part where she sings "So hold me Mom, in your long arms" and then the bass comes in. If you turn it up, the whole room will shake. Powerful stuff! The b-side is pretty great too. Thank you.
