Siriusmo - The Uninvited Guest EP (2009)

Always a fan of this guy, love his tunes and there's a couple of gems on his new EP. Still that eclectic funk type sound, but my only complaint is that the tunes are relatively short, but still, there's flashes of sheer brilliance in each one of them. This is the first release from Modeselektor's new label Monkeytown Records and the tunes to check are 'High Together'& 'Nights Off'. More of this please.

Boy 8 Bit - The Suspense Is Killing Me EP (2008)

Yeah, I'm back once again :) Have a couple of spare hours this morning and coincidentally a few new records arrived in the post. It's also perfect blogging weather and I'm nursing a bourbon hangover.

Over the past week or so I've been going through a Modeselektor phase again. They just released a new mix for Get Physicial Records and they included a track from Boy 8 Bit's first and only EP to date. It's all good and similar to Modeselektor's own production style. Favourite tune on here is 'The Cricket Scores'
